The Inquiry Framework

We filter for signal, not noise. A qualified brief saves everyone time and leads to a more accurate proposal. Here’s what makes an inquiry work.

  • 1. The Goal (S.M.A.R.T.)

What is the single most important action a visitor should take? Vague goals ("improve our website") lead to vague solutions.

  • 2. The Audience

Who are you talking to? A tech-savvy developer and a local restaurant owner have different needs. Define them.

  • 3. The Constraint

Budget & timeline. We use fixed pricing for scopes. Provide a realistic range; this helps us propose the right solution.

Pitfall: The "Full Redesign" Vague

"We need a new website" is not actionable. "We need a site that converts 15% more trial sign-ups for our SaaS product" is a project we can design for.

Terminology (Our View)

Discovery Call
A 30-minute conversation to align vision and feasibility. No sales pitch, just assessment.
Fixed Price
A single fee for a defined scope. Prevents budget creep, requires clear deliverables.
Conversion Rate
The percentage of visitors who complete a goal. We measure this before and after.
Scope Creep
Adding features after work begins. We manage this via a clear 'Change Order' process.

Our Istanbul Workflow

A transparent, 5-phase process from first contact to launch. We document everything.

1

Discovery

2-3 days

Brief review, stakeholder interviews, and technical audit. Goal: Define the project scope and success metrics.

Deliverable: Project Scope Document

2

Strategy

1 week

User journey mapping, content hierarchy, and SEO structure. We build the blueprint before drawing pixels.

Deliverable: Strategy Roadmap

3

Design

2-3 weeks

Visual system, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma. Your feedback is built into the system.

Deliverable: Interactive Prototype

4

Development

3-4 weeks

Front-end and back-end implementation. Code is reviewed for performance, accessibility, and clean architecture.

Deliverable: Staging Environment

5

Launch & Handoff

1 week

Final QA, security scan, and live deployment. Includes a 30-day post-launch support window and full documentation.

Deliverable: Live Site + Manual

Method Note: How We Measure Robustness

We define "robust" by three criteria: Performance (Core Web Vitals), Accessibility (WCAG AA compliance), and Maintainability (clean code & documentation). We do not promise "guaranteed rankings," but we build sites that meet all core technical standards.

Should We Work Together?

A clear decision framework for potential clients.

We Optimize For:

  • Clarity of Process: Fixed scopes, clear deliverables, no ambiguity.
  • Strategic Focus: Every pixel serves a user or business goal.
  • Long-Term Performance: Built for speed and accessibility, not just launch.
  • Direct Communication: You talk to the builders, not a project manager.

We Sacrifice:

  • Speed for "Premium": We don't rush quality. A focused project takes 8-12 weeks.
  • Scope Flexibility: We commit to fixed-price models, which require defined boundaries.
  • Template Design: Every project is bespoke. No theme-based shortcuts.
  • 24/7 Support: Our post-launch window is 30 days, focused on launch issues.

Good Fit: Startup Founder

Needs a conversion-focused landing page for a new app. Has a defined budget and timeline (4-6 weeks). Understands the value of testing.

Good Fit: Restaurant Owner

Needs a mobile-optimized menu and reservation system. Values clean design and straightforward functionality over complex features.

Poor Fit: "Can You Do It Faster?"

If the primary concern is beating a deadline at the cost of process, we are not the right studio. Quality requires a defined timeline.
